Thundering water – the Niagara Falls

Written by Nadine Zangerle on . Posted in Canada

We could hear the thundering waterfalls already and this natural wonder was just fantastic to see.

Where is all the water coming from? And why doesn’t it stop? Haha. The translation for the Niagara Falls is just perfect – thundering water.

Happy following the recommendations of some people we went to the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. Especially the horseshoe falls – one of the three waterfalls - are just mind blowing.

So we took the “Maid of the Mist” and drove as close to the falls as possible. We got pretty much soaked but it was just amazing. The noise was deafening and one little water bird was fishing brave in the thundering water.

The Niagara Falls where just stunning.

Getting back into the USA was interesting. Sure they were surprised about 4 German tourists with an own Pick up truck and 5th wheel, especially with a tourist visa and an address in America. So we had a little chat with the officer before we could get back in.
