Nagarkot - Bhaktapur

With a driver and KB (guide) we headed for Changu Narayan, one off the oldest Hindu Temples in Nepal. Then trekking to Nagarkot (2169m) through small villages. Our hotel was View Point, the highest place in there so we could watch a spectacular sun rise the next morning. He sun kissed the highest peaks a lovely good morning.

There it is: Mount Everest

Kathmandu has thousands off tourists, locals wearing clothes in traditional or western style, a lot of traffic, honking, rubbish, cars are squeezing through narrow streets, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, too.  Nobody wants to wait, wants to be first.

Mountains, Himalya, fascinating landscape, always smiling people, always willing to talk. But our guid is willing to talk to anybody who is passing his way. They greet you with Enjoy Nepal. This is what we do. This county and the people kind off have something fascination. You may fall in love with it.

Sitting on the porch we count up to 50 eagles flying above us.

Bhaktapur

You have to pay an entrance fee to visit this little town. Nice, but wasted money.

Back in Kathmandu we meet our Mera Peak tour guide and get our equipment: sleeping bag, mattress, ice axe, cramps, etc…

Was this the right decision? We are getting sick, having a real bad flue.
