Mamallapurram

As Chennai does not have a lot of flair we stayed away from there completely and took a taxi to Mamallapuram. We had pre booked two rooms as well as a taxi into town. So now troubles here!

Our accomodation is comfortable and we enjoy our last few days in a small tourist town. It’s almost like Kochi but way smaller. In small shops are accessories hiding you could buy and buy and buy. Everywhere you hear the chisels of stone carvers as stone work is great in Mamallapuram. We would like to buy so many things, especially Buddha statues!

Even if the beaches are not as nice as Goa you can find spots to sun bath. We will relax the last few days before Rita and Dieter fly home 26.01. For us it’s time to leave India 27.01. back to KL where we stay some days before we head to our island.

We are looking forward for our Paradise and are happy to see our cats again.
